During this Wednesday sermon, Pastor Parkey Cobern looks at what Jesus meant when He said “and whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in my name, I will do it.” Unfortunately, many people believe this in it’s literal sense in-that if we ask for ANYTHING, Jesus will grant it. But this is not the case. Rather, it means when it is God’s will, to which we are being obedient, then whatever we ask Jesus by God’s command and authority, acting on His behalf for the advancement of His kingdom, He will do for His Father’s glory!
