This week, Pastor Parkey continues his series on sharing the gospel titled “Tell Somebody” with a new message called “Popping The Question.” We ask other people dozens of questions every day, but what about the most important questions; is Jesus your Lord and Savior, and if not, would you like to pray to ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior?
A big question to ask yourself is if you are ashamed of Jesus, and why or why not. If it is because we are afraid we will be told “no,” why not then when we receive a “no” to any other questions throughout the day? Or maybe we are even afraid that they will answer “yes” and we won’t know how to respond in that moment! It is time to take a serious inventory of our fears and motivations. We are commissioned to finish the ministry of Jesus, and that means one day we will have to answer for how we handled that commission.
Those who win the lost ask just one more question than those who don’t. The question is valid and as important as any other that will be asked by you today. It is no more intrusive than asking about somebody’s weight, health, marriage, children, and so on. A “no” will not kill us, and a “yes” should not scare us! Go out and pop the most important question you could ever ask someone else; tell somebody!!!
